Two main insert shapes are available within the LNMU03 series:
1.The ZER shape: The original geometry.
2.The newer UER shape: Features a smaller lead angle, which produces thinner chips to reduce cutting load and wear, especially when machining difficult materials. This design directs cutting force primarily axially, minimizing radial force for superior stability and reduced tool deflection, which is ideal for long overhang machining.
These inserts are mounted onto dedicated milling cutter bodies, such as the TXN, EXN, or HXN series from the DoFeed lineup. The LNMU03 inserts and their compatible cutter bodies come in various diameters from 16 mm to 50 mm (.630" to 2"), offering solutions for a wide range of applications.
